From Sara Brown

I first met Becky when she started working with us at Sooner Veterinary Hospital a few years ago. She impressed me immediately with her willingness to be a team player. Her first day we were short handed & low on supplies. We asked if she minded going to Wal-Mart as her first official duty, & she happily obliged! Shopping trips for kitty litter weren't in her job description as receptionist, but she pitched in to help us all.
Becky's always empathetic, & works well with our clients. People who come to a veterinary hospital are sometimes in a good mood, like when they bring a happy new puppy or kitten in for an exam. More often though, they are worried about their ill pet, or concerned about the cost of an injured pet's care, or maybe are just stressed & having a bad day. These clients aren't always nice to our receptionists. But it never has mattered how nice or unpleasant the client is, Becky treats every person thoughtfully, with both wisdom & compassion, & helps them with their problem.
I absolutely adore Becky's sense of humor! She's so fun to be around. Becky has the ability to quickly change a stressful moment into a hilarious one with a sharp observation or witty remark.. I'll be worrying over a situation, Becky will say something funny, & I'll immediately feel better. I find myself laughing & saying "Exactly!" and wishing I could think so quickly.
Our clinic cat Gimpy loves her too. (Becky has the idea that Gimpy doesn't like her, it's just not true. Don't let Becky fool you!) Becky bought Gimpy a beautiful sequined green ball gown costume. It's perfect for Christmas, New Year's, St. Patrick's Day...for every special occasion! Thanks to Becky, we have the best dressed clinic cat ever!
Becky & Will & Annie are very special friends to all of us at Sooner Vet.
We are blessed by their presence in our lives, & ever so grateful Becky decided to come work with us. We love you Becky!
