Becky has her port in. She is most excited fo this because that means she doesn't have to be stuck everytime they want blood. I have to agree needles are not fun.
Becky had her first round of chemo on Monday. It was suppose to take 4 hours but took pretty much a work day. I'm sure she was ready to go home by the end of it. She feeling a little nauseous, but overall she's doing well. She has this Monday off but will go back on the 20th for the 2nd round. Hopefully it will go a little quicker next time.

I like that port idea! I can see where that would come in very handy sometimes; it seems like someone always wants blood for some test or another. I know this must be tough, but keep hangin' in there! We love you guys!
Hi Becky! This is your old England room mate, Lara. The Zimbelmans have been updating me every once in a while on your condition. I'm glad to be able to read this blog and see your whole experience. I've thought about you since I first heard and my prayers are with you. I was always impressed with your strength and steadiness. I remember talking to you about running and even when we went running once in England. I was very sporadic and would run fast but not consistently. I got a head of you but I knew you were stronger than me and could always run much farther than me much more consistently because you were true and constant at your own pace. I was impressed by that. You didn't feel pressure to keep up with me because, I guess you knew you would end up going farther in the end. I hope that makes sense. It taught me a great lesson.
